Stop with the Michael Jackson Stories already

Alright, alright already. The guy is dead and he hasn't had a hit record in 20 years, why do we need to keep talking about him when we are fighting two wars and a recession? His music sucked back then, and it hasn't gotten any better, so why is it impossible to turn on the radio and hear anything besides that crappy pop from the 80s? My iPod is working overtime since I'm avoiding the radio for the next few days.

I concur.

Based on what happened when Anna Nicole Smith died, I'd say we're looking at weeks of this, at least.

As a former media professional, I'm still appalled at how those in my formerly chosen profession can take a story and beat it to death again and again and again. Personally, there isn't a single person of stage, screen or radio I care to hear more than a two paragraph obit for (except Johnny Cash, he deserved all the coverage he got). But that's just me.

I think people should have mourned the death of Michael Jackson in the early 90's when his popularity began to fade.

Enough already.

No dear. I think you are totally wrong. Micheal Jackson was the great singer. I want to talk about him all the time. I am a big fan of him.

You are all forgetting how he helped build and evolve the music industry.

The guy was Controversial over the last few years, but he had so many hits.

R.I.P.
